// poker ai lab

We modeled how players actually behave.

Thirty-six frontier models played millions of duplicated hands — we extracted archetypes, deception patterns, and exploit lines. The coach turns that research into plain-English reads on your table.

How do I beat a calling station?

> coach

Stop bluffing and value-bet thinner — calling stations don't fold, so your bluffs have zero fold equity and your thin value gets paid. The load-bearing concept is exploitative adjustment: against players who over-call, shift your strategy to pure value betting (including hands like second pair that would normally be checks or folds) and eliminate bluffs entirely. Against stations, your worst leak is likely bluffing hands that can't fold — focus on extracting maximum value from marginal made hands instead.

Generic LLMs hallucinate frequencies. Solvers are correct but unreadable. Poka names the load-bearing concept, grounds answers in curated strategy sources, and reads your measured leaks when you have data.

How do I beat a calling station?

Value bet thinner and bigger — they pay off dominated pairs and draws. Cut bluffs unless you hold strong blockers; stations rarely fold. Size for extraction, not balance.

Finally something that tells me *why* I bled chips — then makes me drill that exact mistake.

I stopped opening random solver trees. One leak, one queue, done.

The sim personas feel different. I actually notice when I auto-pilot against the station.

Trainers wander. Solvers are cold. Poka models opponents.

Random spot packs don't fix patterns. Raw solver output doesn't tell you how to exploit a station. Poka connects archetype research to your leak profile.

Vision — research in progress

Unshipped R&D: live player tells, gaze, and table-state mapping on broadcast footage. Not a shipped product feature — a lab project exploring the layer underneath solver lines.

01

Baseline-locked reads

Every player gets a neutral baseline from their own face at rest. Stress, cognitive load, and control are measured as deviation — not vibes.

02

Named tells, not noise

Lip compression, nostril flare, gaze lock, eyebrow flash — flagged when they spike above that player's normal range.

03

Scene map on the felt

Chips, cards, and players detected live. Pot and board synced to the broadcast. We measure — we don't guess.

04

Gaze + pressure overlay

Where are they looking — opponent, board, away? Pressure and deception risk bars update as the hand escalates.

Trainers teach GTO.

Poka is building the layer underneath — who's under pressure, who's composing a story, and whether the line matches the read.
